Perception

Perception

Do you see a man playing a saxophone, or pretty woman? Or something else?

People see what they want to see and what people see never has anything to do with the truth. --Roberto Bolano

"Your opinion is your opinion, your perception is your perception. Do not confuse them with 'facts' or 'truths.' -- John Moore

Your perception creates your reality.

Perception is a complex reaction that reflects our experiences, what we have been taught, what we bought into, and what we rejected as truth. It is the form of free will that causes conflict and contributes to the complexities of humanity. It is a contributor to stereotyping; a champion or enemy of self-esteem; a challenge to truth; and an obstacle to effective communication.

Remember not to take things personally, and to believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.
